So there’s this new OEL VN that was released like a day ago. Normally I’d laugh at the idea of playing an OEL VN, but I found it kind of amusing that the MC has my name (Seji); also the art ain’t half bad, and features music by (and probably shamelessly stolen from) TAM. Nova already gave it a try, and I might check it out as soon as today.
I’ll never get tired of repeating this. I love these previews. Also, Miki Ito FTW! And MAGICAL GIRL PRETTY EVATRICE FTFW!!!!! And to those nay-sayers… why don’t you just GIVE UP AND DIEEEEEEEE!?!?!?

The previews are the only good thing about Seacats. I must admit her voice kind of creeped me out at first, but the end was so priceless. JYUU NANA SAI!

Bah, I haven’t even watched this week’s episode. Blah blah blah Rosa is one hell of a mother etc. Next week is when the novel becomes truly awesome, and it never looks back. I mean, this is THE song, the one that makes you go \o/ over Battler for being such an awesome big-mouthed bastard. I can’t wait for next week.

By way of 4chan comes NNL’s complaints about Family Project, a visual novel recently released by JAST USA for the English-speaking visual novel crowd.
NNL’s main complaint is the following:
So JAST USA made the claim that the game is “fully uncensored [18+].” Wrong! While most of the game is indeed uncensored, they photoshopped several images of Matsuri, the youngest girl.
And THIS, good sirs, is why the world still keeps looking at the otaku community with disgust. I do see the reasons for JAST to do this (they are just covering all their flanks, mind you that the depicted character is actually 13, regardless of what JAST advertises), all the more when there are groups of people like NNL with their creepy pedophile attitude, ready to show the wrong side about your hobby.

He is forgetting another exception to the rule: Gankutsuou. I have mentioned it to him quite a few times, and in my not-so-humble opinion, it is THE Gonzo show to watch, even if you already intend to ditch Gonzo.
ps. A former horse fetishist in #ndt mentions Seto no Hanayome. Uhhh… ok, so that’s another exception. In my defense, GONZO was paired with AIC (“Elhazard”, “Now and Then, Here and There”), who probably put most of the brawns and made the show not suck.
