So there’s this new OEL VN that was released like a day ago. Normally I’d laugh at the idea of playing an OEL VN, but I found it kind of amusing that the MC has my name (Seji); also the art ain’t half bad, and features music by (and probably shamelessly stolen from) TAM. Nova already gave it a try, and I might check it out as soon as today.
So, like, I just finished Nyan Koi. And you know what’s the problem with this show? Every “help-a-cat” episode is the very definition of filler in any show. “Monster-of-the-week” syndrome. And the other half of the show is bland, uninteresting romance comedy. The whole season just felt like one big 12-episode long filler episode.
At least the chicks were cute. Especially Kaede. And Nagi did make me laugh a few times.

Author’s positive opinions about K-ON sparked enough interest in me to watch the show. I had previously ignored it because according to 4chan (back when it was being aired) it was just a “shitty moeblob show”. And… were they right about that?
Well, the show really is about moeblobs, but what I watched was far from being shitty.
I’ll never get tired of repeating this. I love these previews. Also, Miki Ito FTW! And MAGICAL GIRL PRETTY EVATRICE FTFW!!!!! And to those nay-sayers… why don’t you just GIVE UP AND DIEEEEEEEE!?!?!?
Disclaimer: What I say above about Eva only represents the views of my sleep-deprived mind. I still adore Beatrice very much so over anything in this ephemeral world. It’s just that… Miki Ito improves anything.
Haha, was there ever any doubt as to who would win this? Also, while I gotta admit that the segment was pretty cool, I’d rather have Reimu beating the living daylights out of Ichirin over this anyday.
UPDATE: AQUASTYLE didn’t like my uploading their vid to Youtube ;_;
The previews are the only good thing about Seacats. I must admit her voice kind of creeped me out at first, but the end was so priceless. JYUU NANA SAI!
